Fiorano adds REST support, Eclipse Studio enhancements and other significant features to messaging and integration backbone infrastructure

Announces GA of latest release V9.3 of Fiorano SOA Platform and FioranoMQ JMS Server

May 4, 2011, Los Gatos, CA. – Fiorano Software (www.fiorano.com) a leading provider of enterprise messaging and integration infrastructure today announced the latest release of its industry-leading JMS middleware, FioranoMQ and SOA platform, Fiorano SOA.

Fiorano SOA 9.3 adds support for REST (Representational State Transfer) services, together with security enhancement for Web-Services, HTTP and other adapters. The new REST services enable scalability of component interactions, generality of interfaces and independent deployment of components with reduced latency and better security with the ability to easily encapsulate legacy systems.

The new eclipse-based toolset benefits from several productivity enhancements. Complex flows can now be configured more accurately and rapidly with the Named Configurations feature. Server-management is significantly simplified with JMX connections. Enhancements have also been added to the Document Tracking, Component Creation, Backlog Monitoring and Dashboard features of the platform.

The FioranoMQ JMS Server V9.3 release includes enhancements to Client-Side Persistence, Web-console User-interface improvements and the use of multi-byte characters for object names and configurations. In addition, the C# RTL logging implementation uses the .Net framework's Trace Listeners and the Trace Switches where the log levels can be controlled externally through the application configuration files. Integration with LDAP providers has been optimized together with the replicated High-Availability (HA) implementation.

"These latest releases add important enhancements, including REST, Eclipse and security, to the already rich feature set of the Fiorano SOA Platform, making it the solution of choice for enterprises – whether they are starting on the SOA path or extending their SOA infrastructure", said Atul Saini, CTO, Fiorano Software Inc. "The software provides high-performance, linear scalability, simplicity and the fastest time-to-market while maintaining enterprise-grade security and reliability"
