Fiorano turbo-charges JMS; V 9.1.1 Achieves Industry Highest Speed and Lowest Latency

Outperforms TIBCO, IBM on key industry benchmarks for real-time messaging

LOS GATOS, California, January 13, 2010 – Fiorano Software (www.fiorano.com), a leading provider of enterprise class business process integration and messaging infrastructure technology, today released FioranoMQ 9.1.1, the newest version of its high performance enterprise communication backbone and the world's fastest standalone standards-based messaging server.

The newly released FioranoMQ 9.1.1 implements several new performance-enhancements:

Optimizations in the client-runtime and at the server level result in better performance, both, for Non-Persistent messages and for Persistent messages with Durable Subscribers. Peak performances now exceed 95,000 messages per second for publish/subscribe messaging in closed benchmark testing.

The performance optimizations significantly improve server scalability in comparison with previous releases, making Fiorano on average four times faster than TIBCO and between fifteen and twenty times faster than IBM's JMS offering for non-persistent messages. For persistent messages, Fiorano's performance is three to seven times faster than TIBCO and five to twenty times faster than IBM.

With all of this added performance, Fiorano continues to deliver the industry's lowest JMS latency numbers. FioranoMQ 9.1.1 performs with latencies between 5 and 20 milliseconds – an industry best amongst commercial JMS servers.

FioranoMQ is the world's first grid-enabled, peer-to-peer JMS messaging platform with unbounded scalability and unparalleled ease-of-management via JMX standards. The technology seamlessly integrates heterogeneous IT systems, improving operational efficiency, business agility and performance.
