Los Gatos, CA - August 2nd 2006 – Fiorano Software, (www.fiorano.com) a leading provider of business integration and SOA-ESB middleware solutions, today announced that NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory has selected FioranoMQ^® as its messaging infrastructure for implementation of its Deep Space Network program.

FioranoMQ^® will provide superior messaging technology for Deep Space Network program's messaging infrastructure capability, an international network of antennas that supports interplanetary spacecraft missions and radio and radar astronomy observations for the exploration of the solar System and the universe. The Deep Space Network[DSN] supports selected Earth-orbiting missions and the Mars rover program and currently consists of three deep-space communications facilities placed approximately 120 degrees apart around the world: at Goldstone, in California's Mojave Desert; Spain; and Australia. This strategic placement permits constant observation of spacecraft as the Earth rotates, and helps make the DSN the largest and most sensitive scientific telecommunications system in the world.
