eStudio holds a copy of all the prebuilt services in the Offline repository which are used for the composition of Event Process in the Offline mode. These services are copied into workspace when the eStudio is launched for the first time by selecting a workspace.
In addition to the prebuilt Services all the Custom services will be added to the same repository present in the workspace. As the prebuilt services change with every release, they are not copied when the migration utility is run.
Any changes made to the prebuilt services have to be redone in the new installation. To migrate custom services the steps below have to be followed.
- Launch eStudio in the previous version of Fiorano installation and export the custom services. Services can be exported using the Export to Local Disk option present in the context menu of a service in the Service Repository view.
- Launch eStudio in the new Fiorano installation and import the services that are exported in step 1.The services can be imported using the Import From Local Disk option present in the toolbar of Service Repository view.
