Cache

Policies in the Cache category helps in storing data to cache in the proxy pipeline, to access the written data and to remove the entries from the cache. Response cache helps in performance based by caching the response from the target server and avoiding back end invocation when possible.

The different policies under this category are:

• Populate Cache
• Response Cache
• Lookup Cache
• Invalidate Cache

These Cache policies can be used to improve performance of APIs as it allows API proxy to store and retrieve data at runtime.
