Time Period and Data Aggregation

Predefined Time Period

As you always look forward to generate data for a particular range of time, API Management has provided with some predefined options of Time Period, which are:

Last 5 Minutes
Last Hour
Last Week
Last Month
Date Range

The first four options are fixed time options that give data selection as per their respective names, whereas the last option is a user-defined time option where you can pick the desired dates for which the data is needed.

When you select the date range option, a calendar selection gets displayed using which you can specify the dates for data selection as seen above.

Data Aggregation

Depending on the time period selected, a Data Aggregation option is also available (refer the figure above) to group the data to further narrow down the data analysis:

By Minute
By Hour (this Time Period is not available for last 5 Minutes and last hour options)
By Day (this Time Period is only available for last month and date range options)
By Week (this Time Period is only available for date range option)

Below is Line chart for a specific date range selected grouped on a Per Day basis.
