'group by' option
After selecting the Metrics to Analyze from the Analyze drop-down, you can further narrow down the analysis by using the group by option present next to the Analyze option.
The default value of group by option is 'none' with the below options to choose from the drop-down list:
- Project
- Product
- Server
- Client
- Client Subscription
- Client IP
- Client Host
- Project Version
- Resource
- Proxy Request Verb
- Proxy Response Code
- Target Request Verb
- Target Response Code
- Target URL
- User-defined Dimension

'is' option
Now, as you select an option to group by, you get another option to further choose the category of the item that you have grouped. For example, if you have grouped by 'Server', you can now narrow down to a particular server to analyze the data related to that server. If you have chosen a project, you get the list of projects from which you can choose one project for which you need data.

Further Conditions
After choosing an option in group by, when you select a specific 'group by' element from the is option, you can notice that the group by option changes to 'where' option (Compare Figure 1 and Figure 2). Also notice that another group by option appears next to the is option. You may again repeat the same actions to further narrow down the criteria. Now, when you select another option in the second is option that appears, the group by option changes to 'and' option representing a conditional statement.

In the above figure, the statement reads as "Analyze TRAFFIC where SERVER is APIGATEWAY and PROJECT is LoadBalancing.
